Q: Does Carlson offer internships?
A: Yes. We primarily look for those students in their junior or senior year with a minimum GPA of 3.0. We also look for students who are involved with or hold leadership positions in various campus organizations or clubs. Candidates also need excellent communication, entrepreneurial and technical skills.
 
Q: What can I expect to do during an internship?
A: Each year, Carlson recruits undergraduate and graduate students for several internships across our enterprise. Our internship program includes opportunities in accounting, finance, marketing, strategy, information technology, human resources and communications. The number of and specific requirements for internships vary, based on departmental needs.
 
Q: What can I expect to experience during my Carlson internship?
A: You can expect to be engaged, challenged and rewarded both personally and professionally. You will gain meaningful, tangible experiences that you can apply to your classroom training or career goals. And you work side by side with full-time employees as a team member; so your opportunities for networking and relationship building are limitless.
 
Q: How long do internships last?
A: Most of our internships are full-time, 10-12 week summer programs. We expect you to dive right into the work and make a significant contribution. If appropriate, some internships may also continue part-time during the school year.
 
Q: I have already graduated from college. Can I still apply for an internship at Carlson?
A: Our internship program focuses on students currently working toward a degree. Please watch our website for up-to-date position listings, and feel free to apply directly for positions that interest you and match your experience.
